In northeastern Mesa County lies the small town of Palisade. Although the population of Palisade is less than 3,000, the area is home to more than 20 local wineries and vineyards. The warm, sunny days and cool, crisp nights are the perfect combination for growing both grapes and peaches.

Community events include the Palisade Bluegrass & Roots Festival, the Palisade Peach Festival, and the Colorado Mountain Winefest. These events feature live music, local vendors, and community activities to enjoy, and they are a great way to get out and meet your new neighbors and get acquainted with the community.
